This issue of the International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation presents a range of unique and varied studies.

Foremost, Dinh Tran Ngoc Huy’s study titled ‘Estimating the Volatility of Market Risk of Viet Nam Telecom and Education Industry after the Low Inflation Period 2015-2017’ examines the influence of top management and customer orientation on CRM performance.

Anil Kumar and Meenu Kumari’s ‘Face Identification Using HAAR Wavelet Transform’ sheds light on face identification, the process of matching one or more people by analyzing and comparing the patterns of their faces and elucidates how the Haar wavelet transform has mainly been used for image processing and pattern identification due to its low computing requirements and quality to conserve and compact the energy of a signal.

An interesting study by Shekhar Babu titled ‘Pathargama Primary Agriculture Credit Co-Operative Society, A case for intense study with respect Transformations brought by Vaidyanathan Committee Recommendations in PACSs’ was related to the impact analysis of Pathargama PACS in the Godda district of Jharkhand.

The idea of another interesting study by Gunjali Moorjani, Mayank Jindal and Lakshay Guglani titled ‘Java based suggestion model for organizing social events under Corporate Social Responsibility’ is to develop an organized common corporate social responsibility portal where different corporate or individuals can come together and collectively provide valuable services to society.

In Nikita Gupta, Mansi Mishra and Neha Kumari’s ‘Implementation of efficient data storage management using Common Corporate Social Responsibility System,’  the proposed system is overcoming the drawbacks of other available CSR systems by providing the COMMON CSR System for CSR activities with efficient storage management in place of manual record maintenance.

Vartit Garg, Utkarsh Sharma, Vishal Baliyan and Tanmay Rajput’s system, proposed in their study titled ‘Innovative and Optimal platform: A place for thinker,’  aims to provide a  web application which gathers innovative ideas from its users.

The next study by G Balachandran and Praveen Kumar Gupta titled ‘FPGA – Based Electrocardiography Signal Analysis System using (FIR) Filter’ proposes an adaptive filtering approach based on discrete wavelet transform in addition to an artificial neural network to reduce the noise in the ECG signal.

Following the aforementioned, Franklin Ngosong Tougwa’s ‘Construction Industry and Research Rationale in Cameroon and Africa’ introduces the reader to the construction industry and tries to find and give an appropriate definition for the industry. It further investigates the rationale and importance of research in construction projects and the construction industry in Cameroon and Africa.

Additionally, examining the presence of pollution in the river Yamuna in the city of Delhi is Tarun Shokeen, SK Singh and Geeta Singh’s study titled ‘Study on Adequacy of Functional Characteristics of a Typical Urban Waste Water Treatment Plant.’

Pulkit Bhasin, Praveen Singh and Satnam Singh’s ‘Design and Fabrication of Low-Cost Wood Working Mini CNC Milling Machine for Students Skill Development’ presents the work on the design and fabrication of a low-cost three-axis mini portable CNC milling machine; using Arduino Microcontroller, stepper motors and GRBL Shield.

The role of Sandeep Singh, Karanbir Singh, Vinod Mahajan and Gurcharan Singh’s study titled ‘Justification of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in Indian Sugar mill industry for attaining core excellence’ is to expand an understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) proposals towards developing central capabilities in Indian sugar mill industries.

Lastly, Harpuneet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Rajat Mahajan, Gurpreet Singh, Kundan, Vishal and Neeraj’s ‘Design, Fabrication and Analysis of Indirect type Solar dryer for food preservation’ presents the design, construction and performance of an indirect-type solar dryer for food preservation.

We hope this issue of the International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation is illuminating and insightful for our readers and motivates potential authors to make more unique, diverse and topical contributions to the journal.
